Mhlathuze Water provides a world class service to a broad spectrum of clients, offering analysis and sampling in the ISO 17025 accredited laboratory. An accurate essential requirement of any analytical laboratory is to be able to issue accurate and reliable results and this benchmark standard is achieved through SANAS (South African National Accreditation System) accreditation.
To complement this, stringent obligation scientific services also participates in the regular inter-laboratory proficiency performance evaluations and other similar study checks. A Laboratory Management System (LIMS) is used to improve the management of the samples and traceability results.
Services include inorganic, organic and microbilogical analyses, along with analytical and consulting services that meet specific requirements of clients with flexible reporting and advice on the result interpretation. The monitoring of the quality of water is guided by the SABAS 241- 2006 standard for drinking water, General standard for Effluents of 1984 and the guidelines issued by the Department of Water and Environmental Affairs.
